Any thoughts about Singapore? Did the book change any thoughts you had?

I don't trust either Soleil's father (can't remember his name right now) or John Smith. If they hadn't seen pictures of him while vetting the job, I'd suspect that this wasn't actually Soleil's father but rather someone that was tracking her

Very suspicious.

As I said in the last question...Juan needs to tread lightly. John Smith seems a bit suspicious but he hasn't done anything to distrust him so far. We'll have to see.

Singapore is a tough place to visit. I remember an incident where a teenager was caned for spitting his gum on the sidewalk.

Singapore was just a stopping off place with an interesting interlude (Juan saving a little boy from certain death) as far as I was concerned - didn't particularly add much to the story as far as I could see.

Singapore is a place I know very little about. For some reason it sounds a heavenly place but certainly not presented this way in the book.
