Who did you initially think attacked Cabrillo and Max, and why?

I had no idea unless it was related to the last job and they'd been followed to Singapore

I can't even begin to guess.

I can't imagine who or for that matter, why.

I had no idea who they were.

I assumed Juan knew what he was talking about when he thought they were secret police. Impossible to suspect they'd be suicide bombers until the vests were exposed.
I thought they had security at the entrance to the hotel, or am I remembering incorrectly?

This was pretty bizarre, who knew thy were there?!? Terrorist bombers? Something doesn't fit, if they were terrorist bombers why target Max and Juan. Something just doesn't add up.
