Were you surprised that they came across a temple? Any thoughts why or how it was there?

no - it seems that there are temples throughout the area (at least according to Indian Jones and Lara Croft)

There are abandoned, very old temples throughout most of the world's jungles...so I didn't think too much about it.

When I was in China and was sailing down the Yangtze River, there were Temples built all along the river.

Temples in this context do seem very common. I do wonder if it's Connected, are they after treasure from a temple? Just watch out for that big moving cannonball! 😳
