Any thoughts what they would find as they went through the jungle?

I think they'll find Soleil and then John Smith will double-cross them by bringing in the rest of his team.

I agree with >2 bhabeck:. Somehow the group that killed the man in the first section will become a part of the story.

I agree that the group in the first section will probably appear again but I'm still not sure that John Smith is a part of it. I'm not sure about Soleil...she's still a wild card.

I think there is some treasure in the jungle maybe another Temple where they store the treasure.

I'm expecting them to meet Soleil and her friend, then be ambushed by the third party - Forsythe's men?

A Tempe, treasure, Soleil and then be attacked by Forsythe's Group and knowing Cussler some long action sections with Juan as superman.
