he's a help. he's got a lot of experience and knowledge but he needs to get himself in shape.

He's a help. He has a lot of knowledge about how the Oregon works and he can provide leadership if needed. I am a bit surprised that he hasn't retired before now. He was thinking about it a couple of books ago.

With all the money he's earned from the Corporation he should hire a first-rate lawyer to sort out the ex-wives and all that alimony he's supposedly paying out - surely the exes have had enough money out of him by now. Then he can think about retiring, or at least playing a non-active, executive only, role in the Corporation.
