Did you agree with the computer that the crystals would corrupt?

yes. I don't think there are many people/countries who would be able to withstand the lure of those crystals and what they could make possible. Though if someone had to have it, I would hope for a country that was more responsible/reasonable than somewhere like Iran, Afghanistan, Libya, etc. (and definitely not the UN)

That kind of power would appeal to almost every country. Every leader would want to have to ability to totally destroy others if they thought it necessary.

I don't believe the human race as a whole would ever be ready for that kind of power. Destroy them.
