6.
The Other Mother by Carol Goodman opens with a real warning for women with postpartum OCD to not read this book. Even though it was included to prevent these women from killing their children, it set a spooky tone for me (a fur mom) as I read.

Daphne is a new mom struggling with postpartum depression and joins a support group for help. She makes a new friend in the group who inspires her to make some life changes, some of which have startling consequences.

I don't feel like I can say much more without giving the story away, but this book had twists that kept me up reading late at night. If you're a Carol Goodman fan you won't be disappointed.

Today I'm celebrating my 10 year Thingaversary!

I first heard about chronicling books online in a scrapbook magazine. Someone made a page about their online library catalogue and I was intrigued. I found LibraryThing and decided I would add my 100 favorite books so that I could have a free account, but liked it so much I decided to become a paying member and have been here since.

I have met one LT friend in person and have plans to meet another in February. I love the online friends I've made here and the opportunity to discuss books with everyone. The only negative is that my tbr pile has grown out of control, but since we don't have any immediate plans to move and we still have the ability to freely move throughout the house I guess I should count it as a positive.

Thank you everyone for making my 10 years here fun and thought-provoking!

Once again the year is flying by. Still hoping I can get to my goal. I'm trying to tackle my space issue by reading the tbr but so many good options come along to entice me.
