I need information about Canadian theater plays. I´m studying English Language and Literature, and I´m doing my final paper on Discourse Analysis in theater, I need some interesting, contemporary Canadian theater play and its script, or a way to find it because i can´t pay for it in Cuba. I´m Cuban, studying in the University of Havana. Thanks

I am trying to drum up some more interest and involvement in Canadian politics on Librarything! I know that there are plenty of Canadians on Librarything and several therein who love Canadian politics. I have found a serious lack of groups associated with Canadian politics, history, and statesmen on Librarything (not suprising, really). There are MANY great political works that have come from our great country for all us bookworms to discuss an enjoy. There are many contemporary books such as "Shakedown" by Ezra Lavent or "Fights of Our Lives" by John Duffy or, for those of us who prefer more dated works, there are many historically important works such as "Lament for a Nation" by George Grant or "The Asbestos Strike" by Pierre Trudeau.

First, I would like to ask my fellow Canadian bookworms, what is your preferred group to discuss such matters? Second, I would challenge you to help drum up interest as well and perhaps even start up groups which you feel are lacking.

I started a group on Pierre Elliot Trudeau as there were none (one of the most important statesmen of the 20th century and not a single thread of discussion!). I would welcome anyone interested to join in on the discussions!!
