Help! Does anyone have a copy of this dictionary?

Howdy!

I'm looking for someone who might have access to a copy of The Winston Universal Reference Library. It was printed back in the nineteen twenties and thirties.

I just found my mother's old (1938) copy in my attic and would like to get a copy of pages 545-546 (which are missing in my copy).

If I could insert a copy of this sheet, it would be a long overdue act of atonement, since I was the one who ripped the page out when I was ten (back in the '50s) because I loved the picture of the labyrinth so much.

According to WorldCat (http://worldcat.org/oclc/10441504&tab=holdings&ht=edition), eight libraries own the 1938 edition. I just searched the
Boces, Putnam & Northern Westchester catalog and found nothing; next closest to you would be Dartmouth. I bet if you or your librarian calls them, they'd fax those two pages. Good luck!

Wow! A year of inactivity here (and idleness on my part with respect to the missing page), you write a comment here and, two days later, another LibraryThinger leaves a comment on my profile page that she has two copies of the book and will send me a scan of the missing pages!

If somehow this all comes together, it will be yet another example of Things DO Eventually Work Themselves Out (TDE-WTO), though, in this case, that "Eventually" part sure took a long time.
