Any thoughts what was going on with Andy when he didn’t arrive home, and then even when he did he didn’t go into the house?

Andy appears to be brooding about something. It said that he had argued with Tom Rogerson and now Tom Rogerson is dead...so Andy either killed him or he knows who did. I don't really see Andy as a killer so I hope he just knows who killed him.

He's definitely worried about something. I wonder if he was part of the scheme that brought Alison Teal back to the island.

I thought Andy was probably out drinking or with friends and didn't want to come home. But then when he came home and stayed outside looking towards the Tain house, it appeared that he was probably worried about what happened and his connection to it.

I think Andy may have something to do with Tom’s murder because he was arguing with him earlier.

After the police arrived at Mareel with Alis's photo, seeking information, Andy had a lot of thinking to do, so stayed out late rather than go straight home. He is (was?) definitely involved with Alison in some way.

Definitely involved somehow, but I don’t see him killing Alison. Tom maybe, in a fit of rage. But why was he there at all.

Yes all suspicion seems to be centred on Andy so he most probably isn’t the killer but knows something and is possibly involved with Alison in some way. Something though is most definitely going on with him.
