What did you initially think Andy was sorry for?

I thought maybe he did murder Alison.

Yes, but I just can’t figure out why Tom would come back there to be killed as well.

For leaving the door open? Ha!

I still think Andy was protecting Alison from Tom so maybe he's sorry that Alison died and he felt like he should have be watching out for Alison more closely.

Maybe he's sorry that he ever got involved in any of this. I believe that he wants to protect both parents...Tom for his part in this and Jane because Tom has lied to her.

I think he's sorry for getting involved with whatever is going on. He's trying to protect both his parents in some way.

For being involved with a prostitute? For killing her? For some trouble when he went away to college?
