I gave up on you! I started following @lilisin to talk about contemporary Japanese fiction. :D

I read A Pale View of Hills back in 2007 and reviewed it here on LT.

My son just got back from his third trip to Japan. Again he went to Komiket and also visit gaming arcades. He never left Tokyo this visit (an easy thing to do because that city is so huge) although previously he'd been thinking about visiting Hiroshima. This visit, though, he traveled with a friend, visited a friend who moved to Japan, and met up with a friend who was in Japan on business. For me, he brought me back a variety of different flavors of Kit Kat only made in Japan. They were fun to try.
