Did you think Gray had been killed by the woman in Chapter 1? Why?

Yes I assumed he was dead and was very much surprised to learn about his liquid armor.

I was suspicious because he's a main character so I was not surprised when something amazing occured that saved him.

no, I didn't think so. He's Sigma so I assumed that there was going to be something high-tech to save him

No. I assumed some sort of body armour, though 'liquid' body armour is a new one on me.

There was no way he could be dead, especially when he is one of the main characters and it is the first few pages of the book.
