Was Rachel too impetuous when she went in the tunnel after Gray without turning her flashlight on? Why do you think she did this?

yes - though we were fairly certain that the team had gotten to the spot before the Dragon Court, we didn't know for sure. Also, they didn't know if the tunnel was clear or if it had been booby-trapped. Had a portion of the tunnel collapsed, Gray would have been stuck as he would not have been able to turn around or back out with her behind him. She's too rash sometimes, not working as part of a team

That was a dumb thing to do. She had no clear idea that they were not going to run into the Dragon Court or at least an advance person.

I'm finding her a bit too headstrong.

She's the one who acts too quickly and Kat is the one who acts too conservatively.

Yes definitely headstrong, impetuous and TSTL moment. Did she do it because of her feelings for Gray which was my thinking.
