Should Gray have gone after Raoul or was he right to get everyone out of the tunnels?

I think he was correct in this -- he needed to get everyone clear.

He needed to get the team out.

Safety first.

I'm going to be contrary here, :)
Gray should have got the others out, gone after Raoul and shot him (just finish it!), and then released Seichan, before getting away himself.

I like >5 Sergeirocks: thoughts but feel like Raoul isn't going to die until the end of the book.
