It was good -- the bad guys were dead, jailed or on the run. The good guys had won for the moment.
The "disappearing library" business was a bit weird though

I aslo liked the ending. Yes >2 bhabeck: What was with the disappearing library? I guess you would never have to return your books:)

A good ending - yet again, a supernatural element to Rollins' story.
What I was disappointed with was the run up to the ending - Painter turning up, and granny being one of the baddies, both a bit predictable for my liking: I wanted a few more shocks.
