I think I'll try for 100 this year. Last year I only read 86. I think I can make it if I read at least 8 and half books a month. It shouldn't be hard to do since I am trying to read books listed on 1001 books you must read before you die and Oprah's book club. I keep track of books I've read on list of bests website. I welcome all comments and reading suggestions, wish me luck.

One of my favorite authors, and my favorite series of books. I love this series, it has everything. You get so caught up in the story and it's hard to put the book down.

I love the Outlander series. Last year when I read them for the first time it only took me a month because they are so addicting. Have you read any of the Lord John books? I've been thinking about trying the first one, but have heard mixed reviews.

I have one of Lord John books. Will probably read them also, but I have heard they are a let down after reading the Outlander series. I enjoy them so much. I wish they would make it into a movie it would be awesome.

15.Atonement by Ian McEwan
Great book, heard movie was not as good and kind of confusing unless you read the book first. I choose to always read the book first before I see any movie. The movie is always such a disappointment.

I agree with you on reading the book first, though lately I'm having a hard time keeping track! It seems like every time I see a movie or see a preview, the next thing I know, I found out it Was a novel--I'd just never heard about it. I went to see the movie before finding out that either Feast of Love or The Martian Child were books first, though I found out about The Other Boleyn Girl and P.S. I love you pretty early on. I guess I'll just have to start looking everything up...
