What's your Favorite Character?

Posted this in the Role PLayer's forum, but got no response, so I figured I'd repost it here. :>

Okay, I am sure every one of us in this group has played at least one game, developed a character and had a chance to see what she or he could do... Found that the character was the most amazing that you never wanted it to die.

So tell us:
What is your favorite character?
(For some, you may also want to give a basic idea of the game system)

I have one WoD so far, but will let others chime in before I tell mine. :>

Most of my gaming experience is from the storyteller side of things so I can't say I have that much to say about my favourite character...

My favorite character is a Ravnos that has been overhauled a couple times since she was created in 1998. For those who understand Ravnos, she was embraced against her will. At her sire's trial, she asked to be staked out for the sun. The Baba overseeing the Kris (trial) denied her request, saying she was destined to do good things. (There was a lot more to it, but I have long since forgotten.)

She's a Pharmulo Ravnos with a strong need to protect those she considers her people. The last game I had her in, she was an adopted Brujah sent to determine what had happened in Edinburgh to deplete the kindred population and make the prince disappear. Long story short, she became Prince. A Brujah prince. The funniest part of it is, she would make a wonderful Prince, but I can't play one.

So picture this seven hundred year old female vampire from a culture that European society, including kindred, had no respect for, becoming Prince of an old European city. Oh, did I mention, she tried behaving like a Brujah neonate, and still wound up Prince. :P

When i first played her, she dressed like a Brujah. Biker clothes. She had weapons (on index cards) that she did not know how to use. It was all for show. By the time I played her last, she understood those weapons, and was working her was from controlling the street to working on organized crime.

All because she had to. Aine, first known as Zyndell, was a storyteller and family/caregiver at heart. Even as Prince she was writing Expression x5 books for children. Her last, an ironic series about a kitten and his/her friend the gargoyle. :P (Irony especially since a prior ST had a major thing about powerful NPCs. One was a very powerful gargoyle.)

My favorite characters are the ones I actually got to play (since I was and am the GM most of the time).

The character I got to play the most was a Ventrue psychiatrist, who fed on the blood of women in the health care profession and was thoroughly ruthless; but strangely honorable. At one point we needed someone to use some experimental modified Dragon's Breath rounds to fight off a Sabbat invasion. The ammunition had a tendency to explode from time to time. My character located a vet with mental issues and dominated him into being the cannon fodder. But since he actually survived, the vet got free medical care and therapy sessions.
