I'm only about half-way through this, and hoping for encouragement to finish. Kelsey says this is the first comprehensive history of Christian healing. 130 LT members have given it a 4.2 rating, which seems impressive, but I'm concerned it starts with some strong negative generalizations about Christians and then goes downhill.
It's fascinating to me that almost every book I've read on Church history gives me the impression the author is walking on eggshells, or a tightrope. I suppose they must.

I've finished reading Kelsey's Healing and made a lot of notes, but am now wondering what might be appropriate motives for writing a review and trying to open a discussion of a 50 year old book.
This is complicated because although I have quite strong concerns about Rev Kelsey's motives, I would like support and praise his apparent encouragement of healing ministries. Apparently, however, he moved on in later years to somewhat more secular Jungian therapy.
Can anyone please comment further on this? Many thanks in advance.
Kelsey's books seem to keep right on selling (or at least being offered for sale), but this book seems to have the best rating he's had. Yet it seems entirely to avoid discussion of any specific healings, or even healing prayers and liturgy (other than mentioning some sources).
