Always enjoy the daily LitHub newsletter. Today, there is a mention of a very old library that belonged to the scholar Beatus Rhenanus that is intact in Alsace, France.

I haven't been able to find an inventory online. I found mention of a published inventory done in 1929 in the biography of Rhenanus written by "librarian Joseph Walter," but have not found the inventory itself (or biography for that matter). I noticed he was referred to as Canon Joseph Walter elsewhere. Perhaps those with better skills in French (and maybe German or even Latin) would have better luck finding this 1929 inventory. Or an online one, for that matter.
