Was it wise for Will to stay with his step-mother?

I think it's the best safe place for him as it is his father's house. Not sure it would be good if his father was home as his father is a bit angry with him.

He's family and that entitles him to stay in his father's house. A lot of "sins" are forgiven in the south if your're family.

yes - then he can keep an eye on Victoria and Tyler (and Priscilla) to see if there's something off there and also to protect them in case the threats turn out to be credible

I think this could lead to even more gossip - the locals currently seem to have it in for Victoria.

I think it made sense to protect them. I also think she has a bit of a crush on Robie that may cause problems down the road while he's staying there.

Good idea as likely to be safer there (and could help protect Victoria and Tyler) but could lead to all sort of gossip given their ages and Victoria’s reputation following the court case.
