No. I can't understand why Dan appears to be taking this thing lying down.

I just think he doesn't know if he will ever get out from under the guilty charge.

I think he's covering for someone. Maybe due to threats against his family or for someone that he respects...not sure yet.

I still think he's protecting his wife in some way.

AH HA...My theory might not be so far fetched after all!!! Maybe he knows that it was Victoria that killed Clancy and he's covering for her. He would rather go to prison that have Victoria go to prison. That could also be why he wouldn't see Will. He knew that Will would get to the truth. Now we'll see how wrong I am:)

It does make you think he is covering for his wife, but surprised he is seeming so resigned.
