Any thoughts why the Barksdales are using different names?

More than likely they knew the past was going to eventually catch up to them and they wanted to make it harder to track them down.

They left a long time ago but plenty of people still remember them.

I think they changed their names because their father was such an embarrassment to them.

probably to disassociate themselves from Henry
