Any initial thoughts who killed Emmitt, and cut off his privates, and why?

I figured it to be Victoria. I didn't knw she was Laura at the time or what had happened to her.

I was completely clueless but it did seem to point to a woman. Victoria seemed most likely now.

I thought maybe Emmitt was abused and was now abusing others and someone who he abused cut off his privates.

I didn't have any quesses.
