(Italian dialect for "drunkard): character created in song by Jimmy Durante
No, nothing comes to mind. without a British-Iriwh spelling in a James Joyce edition, I wouldnʻt have know "ty" either.
Now that I think of it, yes. And in the past year, Iʻve scanned (seldom read through) several books on tyrants*!
*My obliging spell-check gives me "treats" when Iʻve typed "tyrants." Canʻt believe my typing was that far off.
Want to wait till someone manages to play on it -- or change it? e.g. just make it "NearsightED"?
(Whoo, and, with all my complaints, my first 4 thoughts for playing on -st> all ended

Yes, by mistake. Apologies. Corrected, above: r y e
Ignoring 162 and working off 161:
t e p e e (or I have also seen the spelling t e e p e e - same last 2 letters)
e l o q u e n t
(Good luck finding a word that starts with NT - and if you can, the next time I see an EL, I'll use Elect - CT - LOL!)
nth (mathematical term denoting an unspecified member of a series of numbers or enumerated items.)
t h r o w n
(Good luck with WN - Let me guess - A radio station somewhere, like WKRP in Cincinnati)
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! LOL!
Ok, using a different word on the T H:
t h o n g
(According to the scrabble dictionary, there are 633 words that start with NG. Good luck!)
(As in the Vegetable, not the drippy faucet, which would be leak)
Working off 281:
(A school or style in Japanese Arts)
"Yes, I forgot that that r-d would be too hard.
so apologies. Changing it to "lexicon".
Changed, with apologies, from "Leonard"
the "too hard" (i agree") post of 292.
