The last post in the groups I follow was 6:25 PM EST yesterday. Have the electrons stopped moving with the cold? We have a heat wave around here (SE PA) today at 9F when I got up. Yesterday it was minus 9F.

Hey! **waves** It’s warmed up to 12F just below you in WV and we’ve got a nice blanket of snow. My 105 year old house is still trying to recover from the heat suck. I think I need to add more insulation under the kitchen floor out back. Just not today. Bundled in wool and cuddling by the fireplace with quick dashes to refill my tea mug.

We had about 6 today, and are expecting 14-15 tomorrow.

Oh, btw, those are centigrade.

Thawing out.

It's 18ºF here right now, which is practically summer compared to the last few days, when it got down to -23ºF with wind chills to -53ºF. It's supposed to be +50º on Monday. Quite a swing!

>3 MarthaJeanne: As you probably know, our minus 9F is about minus 15C or so. . . do a plus or minus one or two. . . too lazy to dig out the table!

It's a pleasant 59F here...although it is about to rain and there's a wind advisory in effect until tomorrow evening.

71F high here in Texas. Although, it being Texas, it will likely be cold before the week is out. Not anywhere near what yall have been experiencing though.
