Not super excited about this but it does look very nice and has some very nice features.
Might give this one some thought! Love history!

Why did Easton use hand marble end pages for a bit and then stop again. We will pay the extra $15 for them...it makes the book special.

>3 cu29640: I completely agree. Around the World in Eighty Days was the last EP title I acquired with hand marbled pages; largely because it did have hand marbled pages (I don't have the other limited Verne titles).
EP mole, please take note and pass that along.

Around the World was the last DLE for me as well and I like the illustrations etc but the hand marbling makes it. Something cool...one can go to crepaldis marbled papers website and order a sample book from them...its beautiful and filled with real marbled samples...and signed by crepaldi.

This item has sold out or is no longer available on the EP site.

Interesting. Perhaps there weren’t enough preorders to proceed with printing.

>8 jroger1: Yep, highly plausible. The item wasn't to my taste, however, one would guess the military history buffs could find much to their liking. I'm hoping for EP to release another multi-volume, heavily illustrated DLE set of some form. Many out there to choose from.

It may have been canceled, or maybe not. We have seen many titles disappear from the site for various reasons in the past, and then show up later on. We will have to wait and see.
