I know that there are a few people in this group that use FictFact website to track their series reading so I thought I'd post this here. It appears that it has now closed its doors due to problems with Amazon, their primary funding source. For those of you who want to keep thei list then you can do so via a csv file download from the site. This will only be available up to July 1st though so the sooner you should nip over there if you want it. The full announcement of the why's and wherefore's of the closure is posted on their main page.

>1 AHS-Wolfy: Thank you for posting this. I'm so sorry to see the end of FictFact. It was so useful.

I had used it just a few days ago and just today went back to it and got the unfortunate message. I downloaded my file with no problem but wondered if anyone can recommend a similar site.

Here’s my ignorance showing - what is a csv file? You can’t keep track, but fantasticfiction.com at least let’s you see what order the books are in. I used to copy and paste the series into a spreadsheet (pre-LT) and keep track by color coding. I couldn’t do it for all as it was a lot of work, but I did some of my most-read/favorite-authors. Sometimes I use my personal stats/memes but it only shows what you have in your library and it’s listed by the series and not author (which I would prefer as I don’t always know exactly what the series is known as). I’ll need to go over and look.
ETA: ok I looked it up and it sounds like how I used to download my lists from bookmooch.

>4 dudes22: It's basically a pre-formatted file that you can open with most database type programs such as MS Excel. Wikipedia has a fuller explanation if you want to tak a look.
