Warning: I tend to use 20 words where one will do, but please help with this.
I like to repair the mishmash of errors left behind on authors, although I restrict myself to those I know (in the literary sense), and steer clear of the very popular ones. I saw the death announcement for an Economist that I liked, and went to the page to see if there was cleanup to be done. For the most part, it was straightforward; then I saw the little hazard sign that said there were problems in the CK that needed repair (left over from an author combination).
Piece of cake (I said to myself). I also saw a second one about stranded links, and removed the only thing I saw. It still says "There are links stranded on: Martin S. Feldstein" and I do note that the Martin Feldstein profile and the Martin S. Feldstein profile (no touchstones on purpose) share some titles, and a *different* set of members that have the books.

The second profile is not visible, of course, having been combined into the first. BTW, before anyone even asks, no, I didn't do the combining. I've been known to combine books when it's easy, but it's been a while since I combined an author, and this has me flat confused.
Although the hazard sign says stranded links, I believe it's referring to something else.
Please explain what the fix was, after you do it, so that I can understand it.
Marty Feldstein was a good human.
