I'm late starting this thread for 2019, but the garden is doing well and I'll get some pictures posted soon.
The veg garden is just starting to produce, which makes me very happy.
Today I made pesto out of my garlic scapes. Guys, this stuff is freaking delicious! If you have never tried them and ever see garlic scapes at a farmer's market or someplace, I highly recommend trying it. Or growing hardneck garlic to get your own. We're eating out tonight so I left the cheese out and froze the pesto, but even without the cheese, it was fab. The initial flavour is kind of green (in a good way), but then the garlic flavour hits. This recipe uses walnuts.

Sounds yummy! For a while we had a CSA share that gave us so many greens, I made pesto with just about anything in it.
