At this point I just feel obligated to complete the set. I doubt I'd ever get around to reading this.

At this point they should just make a Tolkien monthly subscription series....

This is how EP traps “completists.”

Next up: The Complete Set of Books found in Tolkien's Library, each with Tolkien's signature, stamped in gold on the cover. If successful, they'll follow it up with Christopher Tolkien's Complete Household Library. Books he inherited from his father will be bound in a different color so as to not be completely duplicated between the two series.

Anyone else going broke trying to keep up with the releases? I hate being a "completist" and jroger1 for pointing that out...LOL!!!!

That's not a very reassuring prognosis.... especially now that I just saw Captain and Commander (the movie) which leads me to wanting the EP series, which leads me to wanting the Horatio Hornblower series......

Well, if you can manage to somehow remove food from your expenses that should free up a good chunk of book money :)
