Do you feel there are similarities between Ashoka and Mallik, as Mallik felt?

Mallik was definitely trying to live by Ashok's ideal more than Carlton - that's for sure. However, the fact that he still decided to use the scroll to benefit himself and his family first and foremost with the betterment of humanity as secondary is telling. Of the 2, Mallik is the lesser of the evils, but evil is evil...

I don't see any likeness between the two. I think Mallik is deluding himself.

He's still a bad guy who wants to be powerful.

He seems to feel that he IS all of humanity. As long as it benefits him he's all for it.
