Why do you think internal affairs were involved with Bosch? Do you think it was right to consider him a suspect?

I think it was normal to consider him a suspect at first. Once they cleared him it looks like they are using that possibility to keep an eye on his activities for their own purposes.

I agree with >2 Olivermagnus: also.

>2 Olivermagnus: You are correct. Lewis and Clark (more Connelly humor:) had had dealing with Harry before this and had it in for him since he had proved them wrong before. Where did the LA police get these two imbeciles? I remember the first time I read this that I just waited for them to do something else stupid and they didn't disappoint.

It seems the IA boss has a personal beef against Bosch. For some reason he wants Bosch out of the force, and apparently took it as a personal affront that Bosch wasn't kicked out first time round. At least, that's how I'm reading the situation.
