Why do you think Heffernan is talking about promotion for Wesley?

Probably just to make the best use of Wesley's talents.

I think with Jenkins being ill there are going to be some spots opening up in the future.

Promotion would probably mean more responsibility...Wesley can work even longer hours. At least he's not promoting Steve.

Probably because Jenkins is out of commission.

because Wesley has potential and because they're a detective down
