I didn't - that confession was way too convenient. it was obvious she was trying to cover for someone

Why not? We had been given so many people that would have been possible suspects...we saw Mildred Tensby once in a dry cleaners shop?? She was as good a suspect as all the others.

I didn't see her as physically capable and it was a little too far away from the final pages of the book. I thought there would be another suspect.

No. She caved in way too easily, and her confession was couched in too general terms.
