I saw that book (How to Lose Friends and Alienate People) in Borders the other day and almost picked it up. What did you think of it? Is it worth buying or should I check it out from the library.

Finished: The Ambassadors by Henry James. The ending was disappointing as I thought he was going to take Maria Gostrey.

Finished: Getting Off Track by John Taylor.

Finished: Animal Spirits: How Human Psychology Drives the Economy, and Why it Matters for Global Capitalism by George A. Akerlof and Robert J. Shiller. Disappointed just how shallow this book is. You'd think with the all of references and notes that the book itself would be a little more academic and less a generality.
