What do you like about this series? What are you hoping for from this book?

Looking for another great read from Kate Ellis. Watching to see what is happening with Wesley's marriage and also his relationship with Rachel.

This series is one that I always feel indifferent to when we plan it, but end up liking it once we start. I hope Rachel has gotten over her crush, which I find annoying and unprofessional.

I started reading the series for the archaeological aspect more than the police procedural. >3 Olivermagnus: I'm glad that Rachel seems to be over the crush also. Now if they could just lock up Steve Carstairs and throw away the key.... I guess every series needs a bad guy so we are probably stuck with Steve.

Nice bunch of characters - though, like Carol, I'd be happy to see the back of Neanderthal Steve, 😉

This is one of the series that I read because it’s a group read. I probably would have checked it out eventually because of Ellis’ Plantagenet series which I like but it’s not a favorite. However, I enjoy the group reads and definitely think that adds to the series for me.
