Hmmm ... I somehow managed to create this thread twice. Please don't post here--I'll work on getting rid of it.
A bit of self-justification: I clicked to start the new thread, nothing happened, waited a while, again started the new thread, successfully, this time ... went to my 'Home' page to find two of 'em!
Hmmm, again. I've failed to find an answer to this, but I've put in a question over at 'Talk about LibraryThing'. So if everyone could refrain from posting here and use the other thread with the same title, perhaps click 'Ignore topic' on this one ...
