Do the denizens of the Sydney place earnestly enthuse about books ! Do they share tea, sip chai and caress pages sweetly. What methodolgy do they use in the Leviathan's harbourous maw ?

Reporting for duty from our fair harbour city. So now there's two of us.

What manner of literature takes your fancy? I'm a fan of Haruki Murakami, Mr William S. Burroughs and...oh... too many to mention at this latish hour.

Y tu?

I'm reading naked lunch as we post. But then again I am reading a few. Bad habit of the easily distracted. I have read junky, and maybe need to again. what a rollick. My shelves are a long list of good intentions, but I try to only post the ones i have had the disciplin to read (and time to enter). I am going through a 'Sydney' song at the moment. A personal push if you will. I hope this board grows, and enthusiasts joins us here.

Peter Kirkpatrick's 'Sea Coast of Bohemia: Literary Life in Sydney's Roaring Twenties'. Good intro to the life of Boheme in Sydney.

this is it? I'm so disappointed, Sydney. I'd already let my imagination get carried away, fancied trading novels with the hundreds of other Sydney kids sure to be on board.
