Children of the Kingdom by TED Klein

'Finally, here is a look at the three tip-in illustrations for Children of the Kingdom by T.E.D. Klein. These wood engravings were created by Vladimir Zimakov and I just picked up the two-color letterpress prints of them on Friday. The finished book will be done around November. No pre-orders or advance notifications are being taken yet — that will come when I have a better idea of when the book will be finished — but we will for sure keep you up to date via the newsletter. Jerad has mentioned previously that this edition will be printed letterpress. I emailed him earlier, and he expects the price to be around $750, so pretty high even by Centipede Press standards.

I find woodcut illustrations to be so very fascinating, which I am assuming these are. Such detail from such a minimal number of cuts...
