Why do you think Harry wanted time on his own that night after the opening of the court case instead of spending time with Sylvia Moore?

Harry stands alot to lose if he's convicted. I think he needed to think about the case and where it's going in respect to him and his career as well as his life. Harry knows that he over reacted when he fired. Both the Harry and the victim share the fault of that but the man is dead and Harry is responsible even if it was justified.

Harry needs to focus on the case and needs time to get his thoughts together. It is a very important case in regards to his career.

He just wants time to think. No distractions.

Am I the only one that doesn't care for Sylvia Moore? I just don't think she's right for Harry.

He's got a lot on his mind. He also doesn't want Sylvia to hear some of the bad things he's done. I don't think Harry has it in him to love a woman and be in a committed relationship.

It doesn’t bode well for their relationship that he prefers to be alone instead of with her. I can understand him not wanting her in the courtroom, but it does mean he’s not committed to her (or he doesn’t think she’s that committed to him).

I think Bosch really wants to get his head in the game. He needs to think through the fact that the dollmaker is more than likely not dead. After all these years he has thought differently. He needs to go back through things long since put behind him. He also doesn't want Sylvia to hear about things that he did. I think he might be worried that she won't be able to look at him the same if she is aware of what happened.
