Do you think the other killer is connected to the police? Any early thoughts and theories from who we have met so far?

I believe still that the second killer is Bremmer. I will go down in flames or rise up in glory but I am sticking with that until I see differently. My husband says I shouldn't discount Faraday since he has had access to the same information as Bremmer. He's just trying to confuse me:) No...I don't think the killer is a member of the police but someone from the police may be providing Honey with information...someone that knows Harry's background which could be either Edger or Mora.

I think the other killer may be Bremmer but Faraday is a good choice too.

Suspect could be among police, media (they were persuaded to hold back some of the details), or even the two profilers.
I think Bosch had an inspired idea when he guessed at Detective Mora. (I personally wondered about Dr. Locke when he warned Bosch that he was up against someone who was extremely clever.)

>4 Sergeirocks: Dr. Locke is more than clever...he could give classes on how to be a serial killer. I don't think it's him since his expertise alone would put him on a serious radar.

Wondering who was at the house when Harry got there. He kept feeling like someone was there. Choppy pool water, yet Locke was dry... Is this important?

I would suspect Locke 1st then Mora. The other one that could be part of this is that ME assistant that Bosch can’t stand (and I can’t remember the name of now) since Bosch thinks he was the one that leaked some of the info from the morgue.

I think both Mora and Bremmer are suspects. I don't think it's Locke because he seems less likely to carry out violence. It could be someone we haven't met yet since we're only halfway done. Faraday might be a witness to something because he's definitely in this story for a reason other than urban myth.

I have no theory yet, but leaning toward Mora—only because the new killer seems to have a thing for prostitutes
