Not really surprised. A lot of the information that Chandler was bringing out was things that only a long-time acquaintance would know. Harry was understandably angry and hurt by Edgar's betrayal...but in the end he did the right thing. Harry and Edgar will never have the relationship they once had, but they'll be able to work together.

I was surprised and disappointed in Edgar. Their relationship will never be the same as it was.

>3 EadieB: That's really too bad. Harry doesn't have a lot of real friends. Partners form a relationship that it takes something almost catastrophic to dissolve...seems this almost was it.

>4 Carol420: I know police partnership is like a marriage. They definitely need to have each other's back. Works both ways.

I wasn’t too surprised as we already knew Edgar was having money issues - the downturn of the real estate market, the need for the OT. I think I was more disappointed than surprised.

>6 bhabeck: Me too. Just shows what desperation will do to a person.

Not really considering he was having $$ issues. Harry was right to handle it that way. How is he going to trust Edgar going forward. I give Harry points for giving him leeway and realizing that he will still be able to work with him and not have to ask for a transfer.

It was a surprise to me that Edgar was the leak. I think Bosch was harsh in demanding Edgar take a transfer, but this was understandable. I think after a cooling off period Bosch may soften, and not force Edgar away. Whether they'll ever be truly reconciled, however, is anyone's guess - only time will tell.

I was surprised. I just expected Edgar to be a better partner. I was disappointed too.
