What now for the investigation? When it looked like Mora wasn’t the Follower what were your thoughts?

It just reinforced my belief that it was Locke. As far as I was concerned it was going to be either Locke or the morgue assistant. I think the investigation is definitely in a dangerous place now that Locke knows that they’re getting close and he’ll probably act out (maybe by grabbing Sylvia or Chandler (both blondes, correct?))

I hope...even if he's not the Follower...that he goes for Chandler... but Sylvia would be a more likely grab since she's important to Harry. Locke was so out in left field in his excitement over this case and thinking that Harry was going to let him come along on the stakeout. I think he's slime but I don't think he would be asking to draw any attention to himself and his "desires" if he was the killer. I've still got Bremmer waiting to take that glory.

I think they will now turn towards the suspect that I like, Locke. >2 bhabeck: I hope he grabs Chandler, but more likely he's going to mess with Harry and grab Sylvia.

I, personally, thought that only left Locke as the killer (but Carol and Brenda also have good candidates). I assumed he'd be out that night making his next kill. I must admit, I did not expect him to be going for anyone close to Bosch - I thought it would be another 'actress'.

I think we're being pushed toward Locke the same way we were pushed to Mora. What is the point of having Bremmer in this book unless he is the Follower? He's just an nonessential character that way.

I still think the killer is Bremmer.

I still don’t think Locke is the killer. I see him as a voyeur. He’d want to watch..i don’t think he’d do the killing.
