Were you surprised when Sylvia came back to Harry? Will the relationship be successful?

I was slightly surprised but no I think this was a doomed relationship. Sylvia wants Harry to take the safe route and that's just not Harry. Besides there are a lot more books in this series for us.

I, too, was slightly surprised - but perhaps she simply needed time to herself because of her pupil's death.
I don't think this relationship will stand the test of time: look what happened to her marriage...

I was surprised - when she showed up and insisted on speaking, I assumed it was going to be "I've taken the time to think about it and we need to move on". I don't think it'll last much longer in any case.

I was shocked. I was pretty sure this relationship was over. I think she is going to hit her limit of dissatisfaction and end it again. Maybe they will do this a few times before it over. I don't know.
