I'd like to read more of the books I have, especially now I will be tempted by new ones in the local bookshops!

Well, I have finally read my first book from here - The Glass woman. I have not read much over the last year, the screen time for work has taken its toll and I have actually been walking more. But, I am back, I have spent this Easter break reading more and I am really enjoying it.

Actually - just realised I had read another one - A Winter Book in January.

3. Sarah Thornhill
I enjoyed the other two books in this Australian trilogy, this one did not disappoint.

>11 soffitta1: I liked the first book in this trilogy very much, but for some reason, I've not gotten around to the other books. I really should add them to my reading list.

>15 soffitta1: I checked out The Burning Chambers and had to add it to my wishlist. I'd love to read more historical fiction set in France.

I have book 2 on my radar - there is a lot of detail in her work.

12. House of the Hanged
Actually read in September, good thriller to get stuck into.

13. The Darcy Cousins

Nothing ground breaking, but just what I felt like!

14. The restaurant of love regained
A quick read, odd in places, but enjoyable.

December
15. Songs of Willow Frost
Darker than the previous book I read by the author, but worth a read as an insight into the Chinese community in America.

16. The Bolter

Such an interesting life, but rather dry writing.

17. Netherwood

Interesting premise - billed as a book for Downton Abbey fans, this has an upstairs/downstairs feel, but didn't quite go anywhere as the author spins the end out to turn this into a series.
