Bridgewater BookFest

My name is Val Brkich and this summer I am organizing the first Bridgewater BookFest, tentatively scheduled for Saturday, June 21. I am writing you to see if any of you would be willing to be a part of this exciting new community event.

Bridgewater Bookfest will be a gathering of libraries, bookstores and local authors in a festival-type atmosphere on Bridge Street in Bridgewater. The festival will run from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. I invite you to represent yourself, your library or your bookstore by manning a booth at the festival, where you are welcome to sell used books and to promote your organization. We will also have a Local Author Area where local writers will be signing and selling their books, and possibly doing some readings, too. I also plan to have a children’s section with scheduled readings and activities throughout the day. We are also currently trying to get a big name author and sponsor for the event.

Bridgewater Bookfest will be a wonderful new annual event for the county; however, the festival will only be a success if we can get as many local authors and organizations as possible to participate.

Please contact me as soon as possible to reserve your space. I can be reached anytime at val@brkichwriting.com.

Thanks in advance for your participation!

Sincerely,
Valentine J. Brkich

I'm not affiliated with any local bookstore or library but this is the kind of event I'd love to attend!
