Named by Mindell Dubansky to describe objects made to look like books.

She’s written a book about them; or it may be an exhibit companion from the Met. It too pricey for me at $76 sight unseen.

But I have some examples I’ll post in due time. Do you have any blooks?

I have a few cheap pasteboard fake books that you can hide things in and sit on the shelf. I will keep my eyes open for more.

Daughter gifted me a blook for Christmas:

It’s supposed to be a flask, though the cork is not to be trusted.
It has two stickers
Metropolitan Museaum of Art
and
Made in Portugal.

It has a saying on the paper edge side:
“The gift is small, good will is all.”
