Willis Lindquist

The picture that you have as the author of Burma Boy, Haji of the Elephants is NOT Willis Lindquist. I knew Willis Lindquist personally and I was with him when he was editing his last book. As a matter of fact, I helped him edit the book because he had a stoke, and was unable to function as well as he used to. He lived in Chelsea most of his life, where he wrote extensively before he had the stoke and eventually died. It is an insult to have someone else credited with his work.

You can flag a picture if you don't think it is the author.

That is, in fact, Howard Pyle, but it appears that that image has been identified as Willis Lindquist on other sites*, so the original uploader probably pulled it from one of those.

Do you have a picture of Willis Lindquist that can be used? Otherwise it seems likely that people will search on the internet and find the same wrong photo again.
