This book lives up to its name - quick start guide - and is a great starter book for someone who is just learning about finances. It would make, perhaps, a great graduation gift. It is full of all the familiar sayings, adages, bits of wisdom from over the years. What the book is not, is a serious financial advice book. It is a primer in the basics. It might also appeal those happy to have some worksheets and guides that they can download off of the Internet. In short, this is a starter book. It reads more like a magazine than a book, but for the right person, that might be the perfect way to learn how to make a budget, decide how much to spend on rent, or how to save. Share this book for those who are still trying to figure out how to be an adult when it comes to finances.
